About Us
About Us
We are a bi-lingual childcare centre designed to help families through the early years of their little one’s development. Our inclusive staff speak several languages to support you on your journey – English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Hindi, Sinhala, Vietnamese, Nepali and Greek.
Here at 325, our team is passionate, dedicated and driven by a shared mission – we are here for the children. We create a positive impact on your child’s future through our government-recognised educational program.
Under the Victorian Government initiative we are providers of the Free Kinder Program, subsidizing funding to support children aged 3 and 4 in accessing high quality kindergarten. The funding is a contribution towards your family’s gap fees. This program is delivered by qualified early childhood teachers and supported by qualified educators.
We build connections with families and children early by providing free orientation prior to commencement of enrolment and supporting a positive transition from home to their new learning environment.
Our toddler room creates a safe space for children 18-month to 3-year old to build their independence, develop their use of language and build on their physical and cognitive skills.
Our kinder room give 3 to 5-year old children an engaging environment to cooperate with other children while working on their advanced language and fine motor skills.
Staff members keep parents expectations front of mind and work hard to maintain positive relationships with the families of the children. These connections are what makes us a family friendly centre.
We also provide a weekly musical incursion and fitness program through Happy Feet Fitness. Through this program children will experience music and movement related activities which promotes important motor development skills, fosters wellbeing and flexible thinking.
Rating of Excellence
Our service demonstrates our quality of excellence when it comes to programs and relationships with children and families in line with the assessment and rating process of the Victorian Government. Having consistency in practice allows children to feel safe and supported to explore their environment, engage in the program and take on new challenges.
What children are learning
Social and emotional development – Children are supported to engage in group play and develop co-operative play skills. They build friendships, learn to explore their emotions and express their thoughts feeling and ideas in play settings. Children learn how to connect and support others during combined group sessions and help new and younger children feel safe and secure in their new and different environments.
Physical and cognitive development – With a range of experiences and qualified staff, Educators are able to work one-on-one and in small groups with children to support access and inclusion to a wide range of learning experiences. Our indoor and outdoor environment allows children to learn at their own pace, where they have access to a variety of resources and equipment targeted to various ages and development stages.
Language development – We provide exposure to a broader range of languages, building up the children’s language skills, vocabulary, articulation and pattern recognition ability.
Fewer behavioural problems – As a service we build children’s capacity to demonstrate acts of kindness, acceptance and self-awareness. Educators promote children to develop the confidence to attempt new things by celebrating each sucessful milestones. Children practice conflict resolution skills and self-regulation skills through the zone of regulation.
